Оnce upon a time, there was a cat named Kallie. She was nicknamed Lallie and owned by wkyler969. This cat was a particularly fat one, and she was very heavy too. But not so heavy that you'd drop her on her face. But Kallie believes you would. That's why every time wkyler969 picked Kallie up and Kallie cried, she'd say, "I won't drop you, you're not that heavy!" And Kallie would say, "Oh, she does love me."

Kallie loved treats as well. You couldn't go into the kitchen without her sitting on the table and meowing at you to give her treats. This is the reason she's so fat, by the way. She'd meow, cry and scream, "Give me the treats, human!" And wouldn't stop until you gave her the treats. She didn't have thumbs, so it wasn't possible for her to get the treats herself.

Kallie didn't like dogs very much. When she sat on wkyler696's lap and a dog came near, she'd give them a death glare and the dog would run away. She was so good at scaring the dogs. If they didn't go away after the death glare, she'd hiss and try to claw their eyes out. She was a savage kitty like that. Everybody will remember the time she pounced on one of the dogs and chased it around the house.

Now before you go on saying how rude Kallie is, Kallie was actually a very sweet cat. She loved her family. She'd do anything for them. If wkyler696 was sleeping and left the door open, Kallie would come in a snuggle with her all night. Kallie would let wkyler696 talk to her. She'd tell her all kinds of things and Kallie would just sit there and listen. Kallie was a very good companion for wkyler696, and still is today.

Wkyler696 didn't choose Kallie, Kallie chose wkyler696. When they got her, she introduced Kallie to her and her brother. That's all she did before Kallie walked over and rubbed her head on wkyler696, claiming her as her human. That's how they formed the bond that would never break.

What is the meaning of each underlined word in these excerpts from "a modest proposal" by jonathan swift? i think it is agreed by all parties, that this prodigious number of children in the arms, or on the backs, or at the heels of their mothers, and frequently of their fathers, is in the present deplorable state of the kingdom, a very great additional grievance; and therefore whoever could find out a fair, cheap and easy method of making these children sound and useful members of the common-wealth, would deserve so well of the publick, as to have his statue set up for a preserver of the nation. some persons of a desponding spirit are in great concern about that vast number of poor people, who are aged, diseased, or maimed; and i have been desired to employ my thoughts what course may be taken, to ease the nation of so grievous an incumbrance. the word prodigious means . the word desponding means .
