To the Editor: I witnessed a kindness I would like to share. On Southwest Greenburg Road, just before Washington Square, a young man had stopped to assist a mother duck and her 10 or 12 newborn ducklings across five lanes of traffic to safety, lifting each gently when they couldn't
make it up the high curb.
What opinion is expressed in the letter?
