The men see Hotel Omnibus and people on the shore.
The men make an unsuccessful attempt to land the dinghy.
The men watch the gulls and one lands on the captain’s head.
The story opens with the description of the ocean, the boat, and it’s four occupants.
The men decide in the morning to make a try for the shore before they’re too tired.
The men see the lighthouse at Mosquito Inlet.
The men get to shore to find Billy the Oiler has drowned.
