What led to the beginning of the Renaissance

The rediscovery of the Greek and Roman classics, which accompanied a flowering of art and culture in Europe led to the beginning of the Renaissance.  Renaissance means "rebirth” where it was an era of the revival of classical Greek and Roman texts, art and learning in Europe.

shakespeare was famous for writing in iambic pentameter, which is a specific way of rhyming sonnet lines in ten syllables. there are also forms of unrhymed iambic pentameter, as in macbeth, with the noble characters.
