MAGAZINE ARTICLE / PERSONAL ESSAY HERE a hero's journey

This should be double the lengths - so four paragraphs of similar length. This should be 400 - 500 words in length.

can you help me

You will write a 5-paragraph formal literary essay on the following topic:

The story you have chosen follows the "Hero's Journey" pattern. Write an essay that explores three stages in the Hero's Journey, as it is developed in your chosen story.

The thesis should identify the story by title and identify the nature of the main character's journey. Each main idea sentence after that should identify a stage you will address in the body paragraphs (one stage per body paragraph). For example:

In "Beowulf and Grendel," Beowulf embarks on a journey where he demonstrates heroic courage in his battle against the troll, Grendel. Beowulf faces several trials, including a test of his courage by the King of the Danes

Each body paragraph should begin with a topic sentence identifying a stage in the story. Each paragraph should be 6-8 sentences in length and should include 2 pieces of supporting evidence. Each paragraph should incorporate 1 or 2 quotes, along with page references.

HOW TO QUOTE:

Include an introductory phrase that gives context about who is talking and other important information.

Incorporate the quote as naturally as possible.

Provide a parenthetical reference besides the quote that identifies the page number referenced. This reference should be beside the quote, before the period in the sentence.

All quotes should be inside full sentences.

Example:

Kammie says that at the Kelliher's party, everyone "laughed like hyenas" (89).
