The Cat Last week, my neighbor's cat got out of the house and climbed the tree
in my backyard. What sounds lke a simple situation really turned into
quite a fiasca. First, my neighbor climbed the tree. He couldn't reach
the oat and was too afraid to come down. I set a can of tuna on a low
branch, hoping to ture the cat, but only succeeded in attracting crows.
My neighbor hates Crow's, and he ended up falling from the tree,
spraining his ankle. The tuna fell all over him, and the cat hopped down
to eat from his lap
For the Love of Cats
Geraldine Black doesn't have much money. She doesn't have a fancy
house. In fact, she has put off buying a new car for several years. But
that doesn't bother Geraldine. She has better things to do with her
Income. As Loving Paws Shelter's best foster caretaker, she takes in
newborn kittens who are too young to be adopted. She takes the
kittens into her home and cares for them. She pays for all of their
expenses, including medical, out of her own pocket. Geraldine says
that helping a living thing is more important than driving a new car. We
