In northeast Africa, the Hom region, niver systems will be affected by the rise in temperature. Shorter wet seasons with more intense dry periods will cause water shortages and adverse consequences for the agriculture and forestry
sectors. East, Central, and West Africa's agriculture will be threatened as well. Coastal areas will have their share of
problems, too Water levels will rise making it easier for salt water to seep into freshwater resources, thus
contaminating the water. Temperature changes will affect marine life and all that surround such habitats.
