It started as Armistice Day “commemorating the end of World War I” on November 11, 1918. This date was considered important because it signaled “the war to end all wars” and in 1938 became an official U.S. holiday to honor veterans of World War I.

person against person: the hunger games bookteens were sent to fight against each other. they were sent in groups of two's. but could only be one winner. this conflict gave me a emotion of sadness. it made me feel bad for the kids that was sent there.
