In my country, the rulers seem to care less about their subjects, leading to a high degree of unemployment, poverty and penury, killings, and crime. Few favorable policies are ever made for the masses while the rulers amass great wealth for themselves.

2. Yes, I sometimes wonder how my country would have been a better place to live in if the rulers cared more for their citizens and made/implemented favorable policies that were in their interests. We would then have good roads, well-equipped hospitals, jobs for the citizens, and fewer crimes.

3. No, the price for progress is never too high. Protests and several other legal means of agitations have been used by the masses to state their concerns. In the process, many have died. Those who have sacrificed their lives for this cause are martyrs because they died for a good cause. Nothing good can come without a price. Such martyrs have their names in the sands of times.
