One of the most dreaded consequences of falling on your head is a brain injury. It can cause all sorts of difficulties such as memory loss, personality change, pain, loss of speech, and more. Becoming a different person is a big stress on family and friends. People may not recognize their loved ones or dislike and even hate them. The person hurt may not be able to do fun things. He or she may not be allowed to participate in certain activities. Although many people dislike the risk involved in riding motorcycles or scooters and don’t do it, there are still a lot of people that don’t mind it.  If they don’t wear helmets, they run the risks of injuries. Paying medical bills is a big problem for some people because bills are expensive. If people buy a helmet they can prevent an injury. This costs a lot less than having to pay for treating one’s brain.
