2. The thesis satement is, "Cell phones are used everywhere, but on the road they are a dangerous distraction to drivers and should be prohibited.

3. The author is using facts and adjectives to prove and show their point. (not 100% sure on that one)

4. They are using quotes from experts like the new england journal of medicine, the california traffic safety summit, and the american automobile association. This does help them because these quotes say why drivers should not use phones while driving.

5. The student finishes the essay with a quote from a professional NASCAR racer and then uses a concluding sentence for the readers to think about.
