Could someone proofread, judge, and help me come up with a title for my descriptive 9/11 essay “Where is it?” I asked myself when I was looking for my cloudy-white uniform. “Alexis honey, did you put it on with my clothes?” My wife Clara who had beautiful leafy eyes and syrup colored hair questioned me. “I’ll check” I went and checked but only her clothes were hers. This is the first time I’m going to be late. I felt my stomach turning and twisting like when a baker kneaded the bread while my head started to spin as if I were in a washing machine. I am sure that they wouldn’t mind. I started biting my lips, knowing they would mind. If I went without a uniform they would fire me so I have to get one. Then I remembered. I could ask my buddy Carl since he always has a spare and he wouldn’t let me down. I ran over to his house and got there to knock on his door. When Carl opened the door he looked like all of his life was taken out of him with baggy eyes and bloodshot eyes. “What can I do for you” Carl asked while rubbing his eye.“Carl you need to sleep more-” I started with a lecturing tone. “I’ll be fine.” he assured me. The atmosphere turned awkward. “Why did you come here?” breaking the dreading silence “I wanted to come here just to ask if you had a spare uniform that I could wear.” “Yea I do I’ll go get it.” “Thanks Carl” I said. Carl threw me a uniform. “Can I go change in here, so we could you know, go to work together…” “Alright” Once I got changed and he did we both left. My girlfriend texted me that she was on the top floor at work and the view was wonderful. It is a beautiful sight. Once Carl and I arrived we were both a couple of minutes late. “I’ll see you at the top” is what I said not knowing what will happen next.
After a couple of minutes I saw something. It looked like a plane that was coming toward us. My stomach started to get tangled up like earbuds if you aren’t careful. Everyone looked and started screaming and running away. I threw myself out of the building. Did Carl make it? I didn’t see him. My girlfriend texted me. “Are you ok?” I texted her reassuring her that I was fine but I didn't know about Carl.” Some time has passed but I didn’t see him. I was going to go inside to get him but then another plane crashed. It was the South Tower. My girlfriend wasn’t going to make it. It would be impossible. I started crying but then I saw the South tower crash. I started running. The streets started being consumed by debris. I had made it, but no one that I knew of survived.
