Telling a friend at abroad how you celebrated the Christmas last year

I am happy and safe here and hoping the same for you. I want to tell you that I have celebrated Christmas and New Year eve with my family in a hotel named big royal with my family in California. I miss you very much. I cutted the cake and distributes patees and pastries among all .We celebrate it by dancing and singing song "Jingle Bell Jingle Bell" . sadly, you weren't here we may would enjoy a lot together.
