What about the poem’s similarities or dissimilarities to those things surprise you?
What is it saying about the world as a whole?
What does it say about being human?
What is the theme of the piece?

Answer one of these questions in a FIVE sentence paragraph that includes a DIRECT QUOTE from the poem as a support.
