In the selection The Birds, how did the family at the farm (for whom Nat Hocken worked) fare? Because they owned a car, they were able to escape to the towns.
They were wealthier and had plenty of food and supplies, so they fared better than Nat's family.
They disregarded the warnings and fell victim to the vicious attacks of the birds.
