Yesterday when I got off the school bus. My friend Sheila and I saw a brown toad hopping on the sidewalk. Yelled and screamed when she saw it. My friend Sheila is scared of all reptiles. I picked the toad and looked closely at it. Had dry, bumpy skin on its body. Sheila said, "I don't want to see that ugly toad!" Said, "Then close your eyes, Sheila." Sheila was mad and she ran off. I put the toad in my backpack. Took it home to show my brother. My brother wasn't home from school as yet. So I had to wait until.
