Consider everything you have learned about the Puritans from schoolbook, movies, etc. What is your overall view or opinion of this historical group? How does this compare to our generalizations or stereotypes about the Puritans?

They are very strong opinionated. They beleive that their life is based on one goal, to live and please God and fufill his demands. Not very openminded nor welcoming of other religions. ( sorry i kinda hated this unit in class but i did remeber some little things)

warren buffett- the oracle of omaha warren buffett came from a normal type of family in nebraska. when hew as young, he understood the value of investing money and gaining interest on that investment. he strived hard at several jobs, but what made him one of the wealthiest men in the world was his gift for allocating capital within a free market system. warren buffett is an example of a man whose wealth is owed largely to the free enterprise system. buffett was able to allocate his money however he wanted, investing in businesses that he thought could compete effectively. without the free market system, he would not have the right to invest however he wanted, and would not have become so wealthy.

cassius, casca, and their allies plant false documents to manipulate brutus to join their cause to remove caesar. after doing so, they visit brutus at night in his home to persuade him of their views. there they plan caesar's death. brutus is troubled but refuses to confide in his devoted wife, portia. on 15 march, caesar's wife, calpurnia, urges him not to go to the senate. she has had visionary dreams and fears the portents of the overnight storms.
