Trina forced her worries about her recent biology exam from her mind and let her kite soar high in the sun-
drenched sky. She needed an A to get in the premed
program. She had studied hard and given it her best, which
was all she could really do. Suddenly the wind gained
strength, tugging forcefully on her kite string. It could snap
at any moment. Holding tightly to the string, she loosened
