Your parents decide to take a weekend-long vacation. Before they go, they tell you that you can have a few friends over at the house as long as you keep things low-key. You decide to turn this event into quite the affair, inviting many of your closest friends and providing beverages. Everything is going well until about 11:00 p. m. Apparently, one of your neighbors called the police because of the noise, and the cops are at your front door. You, being a highly intelligent young person, decided to pretend that you have laryngitis so you are unable to explain to the police officers what exactly is transpiring behind the front door. They, being equally highly intelligent, give you a piece of paper and a pen. In the space below, write a note to the police that explains what exactly is going on at your house. Keep the note to 1 paragraphs in length and address your reader by name. In the letter, remember your audience and adjust your tone accordingly.
