Read the following passage and determine the text structure. Owls have a peculiar digestive procedure that creates a
byproduct called pellets. Owl pellets are a type of owl vomit.
Owls swallow their prey whole, but indigestible parts such as
bones and tails remain in an upper stomach region. These
items must be regurgitated before the next meal. Owls vomit
the pellets in the woods at least once a day. Sometimes,
pellets are collected for scientists and students to dissect.
Often, an entire skeleton of a mouse can be pieced together
from one pellet.
