Writing Warrants (Skill 3.A) For this assignment, you need to select two pieces of evidence from the article, "Asian Men can Jump", posted in your team's notebook and yesterday's module that support the thesis statement. After you have selected two pieces of evidence that you feel are strong, you are then going to write a paragraph for each piece of evidence, explaining how it does (or doesn't) support the claim. Here is how your paragraph should be structured:

1. What is Gish Jen doing to support her thesis?

2. Evidence, with proper lead in and citation

3. Warrant, showing how the evidence does or does not support the claim.

Remember that the warrant is going to be the most important and detailed part of your paragraphs. One sentence warrants are not going to earn higher than a 2
