Do I need to cite my teacher's suggestions for a paper? For example, if we are discussing my paper and she gives me ideas for interpretation that I incorporate into my paper, do I need to cite them? Does that count as passing off someone else's ideas as my own? And do I need to cite informal conversations like these in general?
