Light reaches us as an energy in the form of a wave in the visible-ray region of the electromagnetic spectrum. Light wave is picked up by the eyes; directly from the source of the light, or indirectly from reflecting off of a body in its path. Light is very important because it allows us to take in information about our environment through our eyes.
