In the town of moo moo meadows, there lived a young boy named Pachinko, and he was given the task of herding the moo moos of the meadow. Now Pachinko had never done this, and was excited to have a job and earn money to buy his favorite candy, moo moo mints.

He got to the meadow at precisely 6:00 am and laid down under a tree to rest, because he knew that moo moos didn't move very much. He wasn't used to waking up this early, and soon fell into a deep sleep. He woke to the heat of the afternoon sun, and to his dismay, not the sound of the moo moos mooing.

He jumped up and saw that the moo moos had left the meadow! He looked around and saw a path of trampled grass leading into the Jemima Jungle! He ran to the line of trees bordering the meadow from the jungle, and saw the trampled grass and trees where the moo moos had walked. He took a deep breath and entered the jungle.

He followed the path until the sun set. It was a dark night, for it was a new moon. Pachinko was tired and drenched with sweat from a long day of following the path. He could barely see the path the moo moos had made, and he could hear the noises of the creatures of the jungle. He was about to turn back when he heard a long "M". It was a moo moo! He ran as fast as he could, and reached the end of the long path.

He looked up, and saw all the moo moos in a meadow. He saw a light in the distance and ran towards it. As he neared it, he realized it was his house! He looked at the meadow and could make out the dark shapes of the moo moos scattered around.

Pachinko realized that he was back in moo moo meadows! He dashed into his house and saw his mother and father sitting at the table. "Papa?" Pachinko asked. "Pachinko! how was your first day of working in the meadow?"

Pachinko exclaimed, "The moo moos ran away and I followed them back here!"

Papa said," Well, yeah. The moo moos always go into the Jemima Jungle and come back here, everyday. Did I forget to tell you?"

"Yes!" Pachinko yelled. "I spent the whole day following them!

"Well, here's your money anyways son."

That's when Pachinko realized that it pays to wait.
