The lake isle of innisfree by William Butler Yeats. Reread these lines from the poem. “Dripping from the veils of the morning go where the cricket sings there midnights all a glimmer and noon a purple glow “ what is the meaning of these lines? While quiet, the lake isle of innisfree is glaring all the time. Morning, noon, and night are all very peaceful on the island. The various colors of innisfree make daytime seem dark and nighttime seem bright. The isle is loud from so many crickets, very hazy in the morning, and very bright at night.
