We can refer to news outlets in this period of time. The biggest news outlets, which does not mean that they are the best, are Fox News, CNN, CNN International, CNN en Español, NBC News. CBS News, RT (Russian Television), and BBC News.

These media outlets had been questioned about the objectivity in their way to inform about the news. Many experts and scholars think that many times the news is biased by these channels, trying to support a particular agenda.

The real example you could include is the way these outlets followed the Irag invasion during the George W. Bush administration.

Most of these outlets informed that the US government had elements that proved that Sadam Hussein, leader of Iraq, had many weapons of mass destruction in the country. Few media outlets cover the issue that the United Nations Security Council had not approved the invasion because its people had no elements that validated President's Bush affirmation.

US troops invaded Iraq and time pass by and not a single weapon of mass destruction were found in Iraq. So the media started to heavily question the ulterior motives of President Bush to rush and order the invasion. So the media went form not question, barely supporting the invasion, to question the decision but just after the troops couldn't find any weapon.
