A Day in Your Life - in the Year 2020

People used to know more or less how their children would live. Now things are changing so quickly that we don't even know what our own lives will be like in a few years. What follows is not science fiction. It's how experts see the future.
You're daydreaming behind the wheel of your car, but that's OK. You have it on automatic pilot, and with its high-tech computers and cameras, your car “knows” how to
get you home safely.
You're hungry, so you head for the kitchen as soon as you get home. You ordered groceries by computer an hour ago, and you know that by now they've arrived. Your kitchen has a two-way refrigerator, which opens to the outside to accept deliveries. You've already paid for the food by having the money subtracted from your bank account. Nobody
uses cash anymore.
What's for lunch? In the old days, you used to stop off to buy a hamburger or pizza.
Now you use your diagnostic machine to find out which foods your body needs. You
find out you need more vegetables and less fat. Your food-preparation machine makes you a salad.
After lunch, you go down the hall to your home office. Here you have everything you need for doing your work. Thanks to your information screen and your new computer, you
almost never go into the office anymore.
The information screen shows an urgent message from a co-worker in Brazil. You set
the screen to translate Portuguese into English. As you wait, you think about later, when you'll have a movie transmitted. What movie should you order tonight?

dioneo just might be like one of your friends. he is a good looking guy that can say whatever he want and get away with it. he's brings life because he can sing and play the lute. he is also dangerous because he can convince you to do anything for him because his wit is so sharp, you can not resist. dioneo is determined to take the next logical step and initiate a small campaign for freedom of speech. he does this by begging to be released from telling stories that conform to the daily theme. then, during his own time, he chooses a themes that are scandalous and he gets the response he expects.

nouns refer to people (other than pronouns), places and things, whereas verbs describe actions and are usually part of the predicate of a sentence. finally, pronouns can work as nouns and identify the participants in speech.

in the example sentence, "will" is a verb part or auxiliary verb, "be" is an infinitive verb and "books" is a plural noun.

1.   in sonnet 18, the speaker wants to describe the beauty of his love, but can’t find the words to do so. the speaker says “then in mid-utterance the lay was lost” when he tries to think of the words to describe his love’s beauty.   through his defeat of finding words to describe his love, he shows his love for her.

2.   instead of describing how perfect his love is or comparing her to other beautiful things, he says she is average and there is nothing special about her.   at the last 2 lines of the poem, the volta changes the poem by saying that even though his love is average in beauty, his love for her is special and unique. so instead of praising her throughout the whole poem, he contrasts her average characteristics with his special love for her.

3.   the beloved asked the speaker to describe how he feels about her. she begins to describe what she feels but "drop the torch" and says that she can't do it because the words "hid in me out of reach." the the speaker says "nay, let the silence of my womanhood command my woman-love to thy belief" and that her silence will have to be the answer to his question.
