"The Face on the Wall" is a book by Jane Langton which is filled a lot of mysterious events which keeps the reader on the edge of their seat, scarcely breathing till the last page. The book features the main character - Annie Swann who has been a serial victim of negative circumstances. Shortly after a recent divorce, she extends a part of her house which includes a blank wall that measures 35 feet. As she commences to paint on the wall live size characters from a fairy tale which she uses as illustrations in the children books that she makes for a living, faces begin to appear on it. Mysterious faces covered in blood.
