1. Honestly I don’t kmow if there was a story you read with a nonhuman character called Mr Chomiuk because non of the options line up with this question. But I would go with A.

A. Personification is a human trait given to something nonhuman. Personification is something like the example below:

“The leaves danced as the wind blew.”

B. A simile is a figure of speech involving the comparison of one thing with another thing of a different kind, used to make a description more emphatic or vivid (e.g., as brave as a lion, crazy like a fox ).
