When I hear a good speech, I find myself thinking about what the speaker had to say long after it is over. If the speaker is passionate about the message and gives me reasons that it’s important, then I’m more likely to remember the message. On the other hand, if a speaker is boring and doesn’t capture my attention from the beginning, I often find my attention wandering during the speech. Afterward, if someone asks me what the speaker said, I probably wouldn’t remember. Also, the message has to be important to me to get me to listen. It changes our mood completely sometimes our thinking also.
