The most important  message conveyed through the  Ray Bradbury's short story "The Veldt" is the over reliance on the technology. Bradbury presents a cautious tale of how technology can completely ruin a household and break the significant bond between parents and children.

In the story, George and Lydia Hadley the main character  purchase a completely automated Happy life Home, to take care  of necessary household work like , cooking  dinner, and providing entertainment to the family members.

After the use of  smart home's technology  George and Lydia discover that they have become irrelevant for  their children and the children's no longer  treat them as parents. The Happy life Home technology  completely replace Lydia's job as a mother . George  has lost complete control over his children.
