Marketing can be defined as the process in which we try to find out the customers needs and then meet those needs profitably. Putting it another way, marketing is about finding the gaps in the market and then making the gaps in the market. We try to find, attract, get, keep and grow our customers by making their life easier with the help of our products and services. It is one of the most important department in any organization because it defines where organization should move, what products it should launch and how to satisfy its customers. Product: Marketers find out the best products for the customers which can fulfill their current, latent and hidden needs. Products are only used to fulfill needs. For example, when people used to watch movies on VCRs, the actual need was not the VCRs, the actual need was the entertainment which was then fulfilled by the CD Players and then DVD Players quite successfully.

Price: Offering the price which customers want to pay for the products.

Place: Making the products available at each and every point from where customers can purchase it conveniently.

Promotion: Promoting the products with the help of advertisements, public relations, publicity, direct marketing, digital marketing etc.
