"Harlem" by Langston Hughes and "Hold fast your dreams" by Louise Driscoll are similar and different in terms of their message about following one's dream. They both talk about dreams as goals. "Harlem" is different in that it has a negative tone and tells the reader to put his or her dream on hold. "Hold Fast Your Dreams" is different in that it has a positive tone and tells the reader to hold onto his or her dream.
