For each set of epigraphs, you must analyze and demonstrate your understanding of the thematic content. Also, you must explain the thematic connection that links the text of the chapter to the epigraph. Please understand that this is not a summary assignment, rather it is an analytical paragraph assignment. To completely demonstrate your quality of thought, each epigraph analysis should be a paragraph of 6-8 sentences that delves into the depth of meaning conveyed by Jon Krakauer.
