Julian had been tutoring his brother all morning, and
solving for the unknown variable was becoming a tedious
process. The two students needed a break.
"Let's put the algebra aside and get outside for a while this
afternoon," suggested Julian.
"Yeah, and I'll ask Ma if I can have a couple bucks so we
can buy some pops up on Lincoln."
In a few minutes, the boys left the apartment, pulling on
their baseball caps and smiling with relief.
