Why is Pyramus tedious?

Sorry if this was late! In Ovid's Metamorphoses, Pyramus and Thisbe are two lovers in the city of Babylon who occupy connected houses/walls, forbidden by their parents to be wed, because of their parents' rivalry. Through a crack in one of the walls, they whisper their love for each other. Because of these important details it pressures their relationship. Overcome with grief, Pyramus stabs himself in the heart with his sword. His blood spurts onto the white berries of the mulberry tree. By the time Thisbe comes back, Pyramus has almost bled to death. ... Thisbe is so sad when she figures out what happened that she takes Pyramus's sword and kills herself, too.

Theme- All-consuming love is a main theme of the story. Pyramus and Thisbe were willing to do anything to be together. Not even death can keep them apart. At the end of the story, their wishes are honored: their ashes are placed in the same urn.
