Describe, in your own words, the impact of size in the story. Your answer should be at least one hundred words. The story is: Voltaire’s Micromegas.

Voltaire tells the story of a giant named Micromegas, that comes from the far planet. While Micromegas is traveling with his friend he ends up on Earth.

As he is a giant he can't realize that on Earth there are tiny people living. He thinks that people, so small and invisible can’t be intelligent, but he gets surprised by people’s importance.

Explanation:

The main story is that the size is very relative and that one shouldn’t be evaluated regarding his size. There is no place for arrogance, as it does not allow a person to see further than just the superficial.

Even though we think that we are big and great, there is always someone greater, who can teach us a lesson.
