Has anyone or can anyone write an imagery poem format or paragraph format constructing a portrait using words regarding an image of a lake. using figurative language (alliteration, metaphor, simile, imagery, hyperbole, or oxymoron.

"The lake was as blue as a sapphire.  The waves splashed and spattered. The water came to life, roaring and rumbling. The sky's sparkling blue light reflected off the water, causing it to shine like phosphorus. The water was music to my ears because the noises of the waves are calming to me and make me feel at home. The water was glowing with dark light coming from the now gray cloud-filled sky."

The rushing water came to life, - hyperbole

roaring and rumbling. - alliteration
