"The Moustache" is a narrative story written by "Rober Comier." It centers on a boy, named Mike, and his "moustache."

The "introduction" of the moustache is good. It initiated the story with a good start, therefore allowing the readers  to dig more about what will happen next. Its thesis or "the purpose of the story" is already presented here. For example, having the moustache made him feel both good and bad. It made him feel older, that feeling of not being Annie's kid brother anymore, which is nice and that feeling of giving him a full price for the movie ticket because he looked older than 17, which wasn't nice at all.

The end of the story closes with a central idea or source of completeness. In the end, he took out his electric razor and shaved his moustache. Somehow, he realized many things by having it such as realizing how much his grandmother loved his grandfather who died in an accident. However, he wanted to feel free from the emotional pressure and the drama it was causing him, that's why in the end he shaved it.
