there was this girl named camille preaker who worked as a reporter at the daily post. she made such good work her boss wanted to send her back to her hometown to do a report on the second missing girl there has been in less than a year. camille has had severe trauma related to the death of her sister marian. when she arrived to her hometown she went to the sheriff chief vickery. who was very keepsake about both cases. after begging the man, he told her that nine year old ann nash was found strangled to death in a creek in the woods. with all of her teeth pulled out. now ten year old natalie keene is missing too. camille will stay at her mother's house for the duration of her assignment. adora crellin. she produces two percent of the county pork with her hog farm. camille went to go lay down she woke up right before dark hit. she was heading down to the police station when she arrives she came up to the most horrifying thing that little girl in the middle of the street with all her teeth pulled out strangled to death.

the next morning there was a detective wanting to talk to vickery. named richard willis he was from kansas city. camille returns home and takes off her clothes and pictures that little girls laying there then look at herself in the mirror and she is a cutter who has scarred herself more than anyone could words written by self-harming. so she sits down and start crying and she screams and says, “why? ” the next morning she meets up with the detective and makes a deal with him. he asked he to him understand the town’s history and she and him to her with the report. they shook on it and said deal. the following day, she found her mother’s friend sitting in a diner and they were t5alking about who might be a murder suspect, natalie’s teenage brother john keene. jackie had said that adora had been acting strange lately. then camille heads over to the nash home to question ann’s parents, bob and betsy. about their daughter who they said was very strong, fierce. then the most mysterious thing she found out is that adora had tutored both of the little girls who have gotten killed. john and his family moved to this little town because natalie attacked a classmate with scissors blinded her in one eye. camille and richard drove around all day then the two shared a kiss. adora is waiting when camille gets home and seems drunk and admits that she never loved camille and wished it was camille that had died instead of marian. camille interviews meredith who reveals that both little girls were bitters. camille meets up with richard and ask one question, “do you think it was a man or women? ” he said in shock, “i believe it was a man who did this,”
camille finds out that adora poisoned her sister. adora gave camilla a blue pill and twenty minutes later she started throwing up. so she went to the hospital. they did a search on the house. they had found a lot of laxatives, emetics illegal antibiotics, and horse tranquilizers in adoras room. every single medication is found in camille toxicology test. they found a diary how she kidnapped and killed those poor little girls. they also found a pair of pliers in adoras room, with traces of blood that belonged to both girls. then she takes custody of amma but there's one dark little secret she likes murdering little girls too. camille take amma home to where she lives and next thing you know there is a girl that died a few blocks away from where camille lives with six teeth missing. so the case is reopened and the new update is amma and her three friends killed all three little girls and pulled their teeth out.
