Can somebody revise my paragraph to make it better?

in the beginning of to kill a mockingbird, scout is childish, though she is only 6 years old. in the book, scout has no responsibilities yet, not even school. scout talks about her and jem playing with their new friend, dill. the only thing they worried about was their neighbor, boo radley, “people said he existed, but jem and i had never seen him. people said he went out at night when the moon was down, and peeped in windows. when people’s azaleas froze in a cold snap, it was because he had breathed on them. any stealthy small crimes committed in maycomb were his work.”(lee, pg, 5). for scout, as a very young girl, was very naive, and quick to judge. she displays many emotions a child would when she wouldn’t get her way, or when someone would make fun of her or anyone close to her, “this time, i split my knuckle to the bone on his front teeth. my left impaired, i sailed in with my right, but not for long. uncle jack pinned my arms to my sides and said, “stand still! ”(lee, pg. 45). though scout acted childish then, a few events changed her perspective on the way she should act.
