What did you learn about the lives of african americans from the 1920s to the 1940s through the two stories "the black ball" and "why you reckon"?
remember one is set in harlem after the great migration (and probably in the jazz age or beginnings of the great depression) and the other is in the southwest, probably arkansas or texas.
