After reading the tragedy of julius caesar, why could the reader consider brutus the protagonist of the play? brutus’ story does not impact the play. brutus is the villain of the story. brutus’ story is the focus of the play. brutus is a minor character. i figured it out its brutus’ story is the focus of the play.
