Based on what you know about greek gods, why is danaë proud that her son's father is zeus?

Seeing as Zeus is the king of gods, Danae is probably proud that she was able to attract Zeus. Her husband King Acrisius of Argos, had been warned that he would be killed eventually by a son born to Danae. So he locked her in a room. Zeus had come into that room in a shower of gold and Danae probably thought of him as a savior of sorts.
