Explanation:
Comedy was born in honor of Dionysus, after the tragedy and from popular celebrations in honor of the same god, at the time of the harvest.
Tespis in 535 B.C. it represented for the first time in Athens a tragedy, during the festival of the Great Dionysias, under the protection of the tyrant Pisistratus.
Dionysus is the god of theater, parties, wine and excesses, represents emotions, chaos and disorder.
Dionysus taught men to grow the vine and make wine.
According to his cult he died every winter and was resurrected in spring and with him also the fruits of the earth were reborn. To celebrate this resurrection large parties were organized during the celebrations that are held many and varied acts that eventually included in Athens a competition of dramatic works that gave rise to the theater.
