I will choose the children's book Matilda.

Matilda is a girl who is particularly talented and intelligent, however, the adults do not provide her a healthy environment in which to develop her skills. Her parents neglect her and have no interest in her education, while the schoolmaster is cruel to her and the other children. Her only ally is her teacher, Ms. Honey. However, as the book progresses, Matilda realizes that she has superpowers, and learns how to use them for good. With her powers, Matilda is able to get everything she ever wanted: proper education, a family who loves her and happy friends.
