What are some questions to ask on a bullying survey for school? i need 10 (can be either open or closed end questions)

Honestly, it depends how open you want your audience to be while they answer it. Many people will feel uncomfortable on the topic of whether or not they've been bullied, and about half of kids who have been the bully will lie and say they haven't. Thread lightly on this, as bullying is a very sensitive topic.

Maybe some questions like:

1) To you, what does bullying mean?

2) What different types of bullying are there that you know of?

3) Have you ever witnessed anyone be bullied themselves?

4) If answered yes on the aforementioned question, did you stand up for them or were you the bystander?

5) Did you know on average, (You'll have to do some research on this) percent of bullying victims commit suicide? How do you think schools can help to prevent this? **This is an especially uncomfortable topic. Use carefully, but still be honest throughout your survey.

6) Since bullying is still an ongoing topic, is there anything you think schools are doing wrong to help the prevention of bullying?

7) When people cyberbully, what do you think is going through their minds? (The cyberbully's)

8) If approached by a bully, even if this had started out as jokes and slowly progressed to harassment and bullying, what would be the first steps you'd take?

9) How effective do you think these steps would be?

10) With the world changing and evolving around us, do you think media might actually encourage bullying?
