Social networking sites have a positive impact on our way of life. They increase our social interaction and provide us with more ways to connect socially. As long as the individual remembers and accepts that this increased social interaction leads to a decrease in privacy, it is an advantage. It stops being a benefit when people forget about the reduction in privacy and do things through social networking sites that everyone might not want to see.
