Some ways to build on a well written communication skill,  is by gathering necessary resources needed for a written piece. It could be having a news source or pulling together thoughts in to a well rounded passage. Rereading is very useful to ensure the reader is able to not only understand what is being told but able to enjoy it.

Overall there are a lot more skills to learn, but written communication is very key.
