Once you have your topic idea, write a short paragraph in your journal explaining what your idea is and how you plan to cover it. also, include some ideas for sources you can use when researching your topic. jot down a potential research question, or maybe even two, to guide your research. when you're finished, hold on to the paragraph so you can use it to start planning your essay. your paragraph should be no more than 100 words, but should be very detailed about your ideas for your topic.
